These are the new employment terms in the national education sector

The General Directorate of Civil Service Administration has enjoined the Ministry of National Education, to exhaust all reserve recruitment lists, in order to give the latter an “extraordinary license” allowing it to set up a new recruitment competition, especially for the school teaching staff.

As remedial measure and in order to cope with the glaring lack of teachers in some curriculum subjects, the ministry of national education has decided to hire “contractual teachers” to oversee the preparations for the 2017 school-cycle examinations.

“Echorouk” has learnt from informed sources, that although the pedagogical supervision, which is remains very frail just two months after the start of the school year, due to several untoward factors, the national education ministry is legally unable to organize a brand-new teachers’ recruitment competition, given that the General Directorate of the Civil Service has imposed on the latter a key and fundamental condition urging it to deplete all the lists of those successful candidates vying for the teaching posts within the stand-by rosters over 50 Educational Directorates in various parts of the country.

The same sources added that the national education ministry is seeking to apply the same school calendar during this academic year similarly to the various exams organized in 2016, because such a calendar seems to be the easiest to be implemented on the ground.
