Three security men killed in a terrorist blast east of Algiers

Three security men killed and three others injured following the explosion of a road side bomb here on Saturday planted by terrorists at the National Road N°12 linking Bordj M’nael and Nasiria, east of Boumerdes (East of Algiers).

 The terrorist attack, according to Echorouk sources, was carried out at about 3:00 pm in a region called “Shender” by a terrorist group who planted a remote-controlled roadside bomb targeting a patrol of security services while visiting the region for an exploratory mission.

The blast caused a damage of two vehicles where three security men died and three others injured

The injured were referred to the hospital of Bordj M’nael, while join forces intervened immediately after the terrorist attack and dismantled another roadside bomb which did not explode in a timely manner due to technical error.

Armed forces launched a large combing operation in the region to track the terrorist group.
