Tunisian FM: “Algeria Provides us with Financial and Security Support”
Prospective committee at the level of Algeria and Tunisia Foreign Ministries will be activated, as Algeria provided and is still providing significant support for Tunisia, both on the security or the financial sides, Tunisian Foreign Minister, Khamis Al- Jahinawi said.
Al-Jihiawi explained after the meeting that brought him with Ramtane Lamamra, that the two sides agreed to activate a prospective committee to explore the level of the two foreign ministries, with the thinking in other to create other formulations for bilateral cooperation.
Tunisian Foreign Minister added that the areas of cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia are numerous, and horizons of supporting this cooperation have no limits, expressing wishes of the two parties to enrich this cooperation.
He also refused to talk, in an interview with Al-Arabiya, about the truth of what was promoted about the existence of a “misunderstanding” between Tunisia and Algeria, pointing out that Algeria has provided and is still providing significant support for Tunisia, both on the security or the financial sides.
In the same context, Al- Jahinawi said both Tunisia and Algeria, insisted on the initial position of rejecting foreign military intervention in Libya, and the two capitals considered and tentatively, that a political settlement is very possible, and not impossible, despite the widening differences between the conflicting parties in Tripoli.
