New Turkish Film On Israeli War Crimes
Six Turkish films will be screened during an upcoming Turkish film festival in Algeria. Turkey's Culture and Arts Association, or UKSD, will organize a Turkish Films Week in Algeria with the support of the Culture and Tourism Ministry.
- “The event will begin with the gala show tonight and end on Sept.27,” UKSD Chairman TuÄŸrul Tuna said, adding that Algerians would watch Turkish films “Romantik Komedi” (Romantic Comedy), “Nefes” (Breath), “Hokkabaz” (The Magician), “Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım” (The Girl with The Red Scarf), “Mommo Kız KardeÅŸim” (Mommo The Boogeymen), and “NeÅŸeli Hayat” (A Jolly Life) free of charge during the event.
- The project would contribute to rapprochement between Turkish and Algerian people, Tuna said.
- The UKSD chairman said the association was also thinking of introducing Algerian cultural and artistic works to Turkish people.
