U.S Middle East Universities to offer study grants for Algerian needy pupils in Secondary Schools' final stage

Partnership initiative for the Middle East, which belongs to the U.S State Secretary and U.S Education and Training Services for the Middle East, announced on launching a competition to choose a friendship program for future leaders in education for this year, that is directed for secondary schools’ final stage and which is allocated for limited income pupils.
Same body statement, which copy is available to Echorouk, explained that the program is directed for pupils of secondary schools’ final stage pupils, who are clever and ambitious, and who belong to poor families.
U.S program will provide university study grants for four years and opportunities of training in institutions that are chosen for high education in the middle east, for pupils who have qualifications of being future leaders.
Beneficiaries from this program can continue studies and get graduations in certain fields in one of the three universities, which are the American Beirut University, American Cairo University and the American Lebanese University.
Conditions of acceptance include the certificate of proving the current final year of secondary school, Algerian citizenship certificate or an Algerian passport, academic agreement certificate, and English skills qualification in reading and writing at a rate of TEFL (ITP) not less than 490 (or equivalent), which date does not exceed two years.
