UNAF Olympic Tournament: Algeria beat Libya (4-0)

MOHAMMEDIA (Morocco)- Algerian national Olympic football team defeated its Libyan counterpart 4-0 (first half 1-0) on Saturday, the third and last day of the Olympic tournament of the Union of North African Football Federations (UNAF) in Mohammedia, Morocco.

Algeria’s goals were scored by Bedbouda (14th minute), Boulanceur (53rd) Mesfar (84th) and Khoutir (88th).

It was the third victory by the Algerian team, coached by Azzedine Ait Djoudi, after their wins against Cameroon (6-0) and Morocco (2-0). On the same day, Morocco beat Cameroon (2-1).

Morocco’s goals were scored by respectively Cameroonian Sim Nanguelle (on his own net, 36th minute) and Moroccan Abderrazaq Hamdallah (86th).

Cameroon’s goal was scored by Beb Ga Bissai on penalty kick (90+5). Algeria topped the ranking list with nine points, winning the first UNAF Olympic tournament, ahead of Morocco (6 points).
