Unemployment: 200,000 projects to create 400,000 jobs for youth

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Insurance agreed to create 200,000 projects for jobless youth in the framework of employment that is provided by both the National Agency for Supporting Youth Employment “ENSEJ” and the National Fund of Unemployment Support for the season 2014-2015, which will allow the creation of 400,000 new jobs, as it decided to reduce the period of files’ studying to only one month as well.

General Manager of Employment and Integration at the level of Labor Ministry, Zeidi Foudil, said in an interview with Echorouk, on Saturday, on the sidelines of “Evaluating activities of the National Fund of Unemployment Insurance”, that ENSEJ and CNAC will create this year more than 100,000 projects, with the same figures and more during 2015, including 70,000 projects that will be funded by financial institutions in the framework of what is called ENSEJ projects, and 30,000 CNAC projects.

“These projects will create 400,000 new jobs. ENSEJ and CNAC are working according to the PM and Labor Minister instructions to encourage agricultural and construction projects that may create the largest number of jobs. Rate of projects’ success reached 50% during the current year.” 
Concerning the lifting of support obstacles on projects, Zeidi Fodil added; “Preparation is underway to take measures that would improve the process of supporting the projects for jobless youth who want to create small companies, like reducing the period of studying the files to only one month. Coordination between representatives of the Finance and Labor Ministries through discussing the procedures that   should be taken, especially in the field of accelerating and facilitating the administrative procedures in the part related to files. 
For his part, General Secretary at the Labor and Employment Ministry, Mohamed Khaiat, said on Saturday; “CNAC funded 25,000 projects last year, while their number is expected to reach 30,000 institutions in the current year”.
