US official: Algeria is a key partner in the fight against terrorism

The US Assistant of the Deputy State Secretary in charge of the Near East, Janet Sandersson has tempered the Algerian authorities’ critics against their US counterparts over the decision to include the Algerian nationals in the high- risk travellers’ checklist across the US airports, saying that the new measures are still under study.
