USMH, JSK in a special cup final clash
The 5 July Stadium in Algiers hosts today the 47th final cup, when JS Kabylie take on USM Harrach at 16.00. This year match is special, given that it is the first time that JSK and USMH meet in the final.
- JSK fans are hopeful and quite confident that their team is the best and deserves to snatch the fifth cup, after 1977, 1989, 1992 and 1994.
- The Kabyle club lost two finals in a row, in 1999 and 2004. Younes’ mates have all the ingredients to lift the trophy again. They enjoy a strong team composed of young and talented players, including Nesakh, Hamiti and Yahia Cherif.
- Djurdjura Lions have concluded their one week training camp in Algiers, and Rachid Belhout’s men seem ready for the 5 July Stadium clash.
- Meanwhile, USMH have been camping in Kolea, western Algiers, to “flee” pressure. The men of manager Boualem Charef have been performing excellent games, either in the cup or the league. The fans of the “Yellow” look forward to down JSK and lift the cup for the third time, after 1974 and 1987.
- Eyes are to be on the revelation of the season, namely Boualem and Boumechra, two USMH key players.
