Visas at the Airport for tourists from Gulf countries wishing to visit Algeria
The Minister of land development, tourism and traditional handicraft industry, Amar Ghoul, said in a statement to “Echorouk” that a combined endeavour is now underway in coordination with all the consulates and embassies of Algeria abroad in order to spur activities designed to give a positive image of Algeria in terms of peculiar national products and in the realm of tourism as a whole with on focus the paramount objective of enhancing and making more enticing, for potential foreign tourists, the Algeria destination.
Mr Amar Ghoul also indicated that steadfast efforts are being deployed by his ministerial department in close conjunction with the interior ministry with the aim of facilitating the granting of entry visas to Algeria to foreign tourists wishing to visit Algeria notably those hailing from Gulf countries.
The Minister explained that foreign tourists coming from Gulf countries would notably be able to secure their entry visas to Algeria immediately at the country’s airports as part of the government’s action plan to simplify the relevant procedures.
Mr Amar Ghoul added that this ongoing endeavour was meant to give a solid boost to the tourism sector in Algeria by shoring up the number of visitors eager to discover the myriad beauty sights across the national territory and notably in the gorgeous Deep South of the country.
