War arsenal discovered in Jijel
Algeria’s defense ministry Monday announced the discovery of a hideout of weapons, ammunition and chemical substances for bombs making in Milia in the province of Jijel.
“As part of countering terrorism and thanks to the efficient exploitation of information, the national army forces found out a hideout of weapons and ammunition. It contained RPG-7, FMPK gun machine, a Kalashnikov and two quintals of chemical substances used to make bombs. A computer and a considerable quantity of food were discovered as well,” said the ministry in a release.
“This operation is added to a series of a positive results achieved by the army. It showed that soldiers are vigilant and serious about ensuring the safety and the stability of the country,” it added.
