Watford’s coach insists on Slimani
Watford FC’s coach Marco Alexandre Saraiva da Silva Friday renewed his desire to sign with Algerian international player Islam Slimani.
Silva told a press conference that he knows Slimani and he could help Watford a lot.
The coach trained Slimani with Portugal Sporting FC in 2014-2015.
British press wanted to know whether Watford’s administration started negotiating with Leicester City to bring Slimani. Yet, Silva refused to give any information and asked journalists not to talk about Slimani.
The Algerian striker, 29, has a contract with Leicester City which expires in summer 2021.
Leicester City paid 35 million euros to bring Slimani.
