Will Rabah Saadane abandon his assistants to stay at Algeria’s team coaching?
Algeria's team coach Rabah Saadane
Sources close to the head of Algerian Football Federation Mohamed Raouraoua, said he asserted no one sees a problem in renewing the contract of Algerian coach Rabah Saadane, as long as he wants to maintain stability of the Algerian team.
Â
- Echorouk sources, also added that there are upcoming matches of Algerian team, including Africa Cup of Nations 2012, as it will play the first official match during the first week of September before Tanzania, an important factor that pushes Raouraoua to prefer maintaining Saadane as coach of Algeria’s team.
- On the other hand, echorouk sources asserted that convicting coach Rabah Saadane to stay is not difficult for the FAF head, on the basis of good relationship between the two men, in addition to the desire of Rabah Saadane, according to closer sources, to continue the work he started with Algeria’s team. However, the problem is that Raouraoua is willing to make some changes at the level of the technical staff, through revoking Coach Rabah Saadane’s assistances, including Zoheir Djelloul, Lamine Kebire and Hassan Belhadji.
- Echorouk sources said that Raouraoua prefers negotiating with Saadane about this decision, as he seeks to convince him to the need to set assistances with more experience and skill.
- Whatever the arguments of Raouraoua, Saadane had previously announced his refusal to abandon his assistances, and rejected the idea of bringing new assistant, information that was published and reported by various media after Algeria’s team return from Africa Cup of Nations 2010.
- Previously, Saadane’s assistants were subjected, after end of Africa Cup of Nations 2010, to many critics on bringing no development that Saadane needed.
- Therefore, can Saadane abandon his assistants in order to remain Algeria’s team coach? Noting that he already abandoned his assistant coach Bouelem Charef, who worked with him during the Africa Cup of Nations 2004 in Tunisia.
