Workers of Post insist on continuing the strike until June 24

Department of Post Offices, where workers launch an open strike asked all workers who insist on continuing the strike to join their works otherwise their wages will be deducted.

 Workers of Post told Echorouk that they will continue striking until 24^th of June, the date of wage increases announced by the Ministry of Post, Information and Communication Technologies, responding to the list of demands submitted at the ministry’s meeting.

They threatened to step up the protest movement and launch a sit in out of the ministry and the presidency   headquarters if no demands are met on June 24.

Spokesman of the striking workers asserted that the decision of suspension of jobs will not discourage workers from continuing their protests until all their demands are settled, especially those related to wages increases.
