Workers Union set up committees ahead of the upcoming tripartite
The Algerian Workers Union has yesterday set up five committees entrusted with discussing the system of bonuses and allowance in the sectors affiliated to the public service, in a move to remedy the shortcomings ahead of the coming tripartite slated for next September.

The setting up of these committees was made in the absence of the Unions Secretary General, who is in Geneva along with the labor’s minister, and presided, by the Secretary in charge of litigations.

The Unions has summoned the committees to forward their suggestions by June 27 at the latest. The report will serve as a basis of discussions and will we put on the agenda of the upcoming tripartite.

Several sectors are concerned by this meeting including the education, higher education and health ministries.

The Union has pledged to catch up the shortcomings registered in the system of bonuses within the public service sector.
