World handball Championships 2011: Algerian team getting ready for the competition
LUND (Sweden) – The Algerian handball team is getting ready in Lund, the Swedish city that will host Men's World Championship group C matches, scheduled from January 13 to 30. Teammates of Abderazak Hammad (Aix en Provence, France) rallied Tuesday night the city of Malmo, the base camp of the Greens, through the capital Denmark, Copenhagen.
During the day Wednesday, Salah Bouchekriou men will have a two-day program; the first training took place at 10:30 am while the second will be held at 18:00 at the hall of Lund.
At the World championship, Algeria will play in Group C alongside Croatia, Denmark, Serbia, Romania and Australia.
The National will begin September 22nd edition of the world championship by taking on next Friday Serbia (20:45 hours Algeria).
In the last edition of the World championships, played in Croatia in 2009, Algeria was ranked the 19th position.
