Yacine Bezzaz to Echorouk: “My objective is getting back to Algeria’s team as soon as possibleâ€
Algeria’s team international Yacine Bezzaz
Algeria’s team international Yacine Bezzaz said he hopes to return soon to the Desert Warriors ranks before the beginning of the Africa Cup 2011 qualifiers.
- What is your news with the new club?
- Currently I train with my new club, and I did not find any difficulty in integrating with my teammates. Brazilian player Marcos, who is my friend and teammate in Strasburg, helps me and I am working on regaining fitness and level through participation in a large number of matches. I know it will not be easy, especially since I was absent for more than six months due to injury during the Africa Cup 2010 in Angola.
- Your club will play a match in the French League. Will you participate in this match?
- Of course, we will play our first match in this season’s French League; however, I will not play because physically I am not ready enough, due to my long absence in stadiums. I talked to my coach and he accepted to exclude me from playing the match that will notice a hard physical confrontation between the two clubs.
- What was your reaction when excluded from the list of Algeria’s team to play the next friendly match announced by Saadane?
- I wished to participate in the next friendly match, but given my health situation, it is logical that they exclude me. It is not the end of the world, and Coach Rabah Saadane knows my potential and trusts me, when I get back to competition I think he will include me in his list. I really missed Algeria’s team and I hope I would participate in the Africa Cup 2011.
- European clubs did not show much attention to Algerian Desert Warriors, although the good performance by some of them, Why?
- They all show good performance I honour the national colours. I think the transfers market in the old continent is down this year. We did not see many deals and transfers. I think this is the first reason, and there is another one.
- What it is?
- We did not offer what Ghana team did during the World Cup, and may be this is the second reason behind the lack of attention by European clubs. I think most of them play in good clubs and contribute in entertaining viewers and fans in Europe.
