Yebda to Echorouk: “If we play like we did versus England, we will qualify for the 2nd round”

The talented Algeria midfielder, Hassen Yebda, has said that the national football squad have the ability to win versus the United States and advance to the second round of the World cup tournament now hosted by South Africa.  

• Yebda told Echorouk that if the national squad played like they did last Friday in Green Point Stadium versus England, victory would be theirs and the door of the second round would open to them.

• Hassen Yebda however said that the chances of success for the two teams were virtually equal but the players who would take advantage of their opponents’ mistakes would come out victorious in next Wednesday’s make or break fixture in Pretoria Stadium.

• According to sources from the technical staff, Hassen Yebda will be entrusted by national team coach Rabah Saâdane with beefing up the forward line of the Greens when they are in possession of the ball in the hope of scoring goals.
