Youcef Yousfi in Quito to partake in 158th OPEC Conference

ALGIERS- Minister of Energy and Mines Youcef Yousfi will partake in the 158th extraordinary meeting of ministers of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), scheduled for Saturday in Quito (Ecuador), announced Thursday the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

The ministerial meeting will be devoted to the examination of the situation in the world oil market and its prospects, the communiqué added.

The members of the OPEC is expected to decide, for the seven time, to maintain the oil production quotas, while prices have exceeded US$ 90 for the first time since autumn 2008.
