Youth Employment Contract worth 15,000 DZ monthly
Government decided to modify the service of helping professional integration, through the integration contracts’ consolidation and supporting employment contract, in order to retain one employment contract that is identical to the labor legislation, and the fee that is required on the basis of wage position, as it will carry the name, “first employment contract for young people”, which will include a social coverage of risks that includes all social security and retirement risks.
Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mohammed Ben Meradi, announced, in a session that was allocated on Monday by Parliament to respond to oral questions of the deputies, on government’s willingness to announce a series of new measures, after a careful evaluation and systematic approach to employment policy, which allowed to stand on some imperfections, under which it was decided the unification of integration contracts with the subsidized employment contract.
“New contract, which will carry the title, “First Employment Contract for Young People” will benefit from the state’s support for non-renewable three years, through the direct contribution of the state in wage position defined as follows : 15,000 ZDZ for university students, and 10,000 ZDZ for high technicians, 8000 for Secondary School graduates and vocational training system, and 6000 ZDZ for people without rehabilitation in institutions which are designated for productivity, as the employer will benefit from the difference between the direct contribution sum of the state and the job wage”.
“User will benefit from the deduction by the same amount from the dues which he paid for the title of the tax on corporate profits. As the state budget will insure the participation share of the employer in the social security, which is specified at the rate of 17%, which is calculated on the basis of the total amount which is corresponding to the contribution of direct wage job”.
“This procedure will enable the standardization of contracts to help professional integration, and will ensure for the young beneficiaries of social coverage under the tutelage of social security, with the calculation of their retirement years”.
Government also decided to integrate new forms of employment, by enabling new job seekers in the economic sector, to integrate people in a formation that is guaranteed by retirement supervisors, who will ensure the transfer of experience and expertise in order to integrate young people who are newly enrolled in the world of employment.
“Figures that are revealed by the National Bureau of Statistics, which counted 241,000 permanent salaried who are aged between 55 and 59 years old, I.e. 7% of the total permanent wage earners, 41,000 permanent salaried aged 60 years and above, I.e. 1.2% of the total permanent salaried”.
