Zahouania, Khallas and Anouar decide to boycott dubious “Rai Music” Festival in France

After the defection of numerous artists, Zahouania, Khallas and Anouar also decided to steer clear from the Rai Music festival to be held on Friday, January 29th, at the Zenith entertainment hall of Paris meant to celebrate the anniversary date of “30 years of Rai Music” in France held for the first time in Bobigny.

These Algerian artists have posted on their facebook pages their refusal to participate in this concert tainted with suspicion because the revenues due to be collected from the sale of entry tickets and the CDs would be used to build a school in Israel.

To recap, the whistleblower was Nacereddine Touil, President of the “Apico” Association devoted to the promotion of the Oran song and former Commissioner of the National Rai Music Festival who alerted about the covert scam the 50 or so Rai singers who were slated to take part in the Zenith concert called “30 years of Rai”, which will kick off at 19 hours on Friday and for a duration of about 5 hours.
