15,000 doctors in the service of patients on Eid Al-Fitr

Head of the Public Health Practitioners, Ilias Meraber, said in a phone call to Echorouk, that 15,000 doctors are concerned with the shift system on the Eid El Fitr days across 650 public hospitals in the country, as the Health Ministry gave strict instructions to take the necessary steps for the registration of the list of doctors who carry out the shift in every religious and national occasion, to avoid the controversy and guarantee the rights.
“Emergency services are the most demand on the days of Eid Al-Fitr, as they were provided with agents to facilitate the work of the medical staff during Eid Al Fitr.”
In this context, Dr. Mohamed Bakat Berkani, President of the National Council of the Deanship of Algerian Doctors, the shift system in hospitals is conducted during the feasts with the mentality of coercion to work because of the situation of public hospitals and health centers that notice chaos due to the presence of emergency within them.
“Opening hospitals across the large Algerian Wilayas, is the specialization of emergencies to create the readiness mentality for the public sector employees for health to serve the citizens in any occasion.”
