4G Internet to reach all Algerian Wilayas on February

4G services will be generalized in the whole national territory and will be launched by the end of this month or the beginning of February at least, to meet the demands of citizens and high technological service, especially that all the Wilayas have installed two stations to facilitate the exploitation of the network to disseminate the process with current year, Azouaou Mehmel, General Manager of Algerie Telecoms said on Wednesday

Mr. Azouaou added, on the sidelines of the school day that was organized by Algiers Regional Popular Council, on modernization, the conduct of the modernization and administration, that Algeria is the Second Country in Africa that introduced this service after South Africa, as the first part of this new technology will be generalized to all States of the country, especially in areas that are not linked to Internet because of the difficulty to install fiber-optic cables. 
“Algerie Telecom installed 60,000 km of fiber-optics at the national level, and about 10,000 kilometers annually, in order to provide better technological services to citizens.”
“Over 300 km of copper cables of different sizes have been stolen during 2014, which resulted in heavy losses of the enterprise, leaving many interruptions in the flow of Internet service to clients. Our services focused on fiber-optic Internet service at the level of national territory and the capital, in particular, by creating 200 contact centers, that will be allowed to add 200,000 new clients, especially in new neighborhoods, that will especially benefit from fiber-optic cable network, as well as the acquisition of equipment that links less than 30 clients, especially of them those who are living in buildings”.
