A Cruise Destination from Mostaganem towards Valencia to be launched by summer 2016

A cruise destination Mostaganem-Valencia, will be launched officially in the coming summer, at a rate of two cruises a week to transport at least 1,300 passengers in each cruise, in partnership with the Spanish company and according to the rule “winner / winner”, Transport Minister, Boudjemaa Tali, said, on Monday.

During the work visit, which led him on Monday, to Mostaganem (Western Algeria), Tali gave his consent regarding the exploitation of new destinations from Morocco Port in Mostaghanem towards the port of Valencia, where the works of expansion are taking place at the level of Morocco dock and air-stores in it to receive ships to transport passengers and for the provision of various essential services to the users of the destination, which will launch its services next summer, after doing a test flight in March 2016, in order to program to transport of some 1,300 passengers and 300 cars twice a week between the two countries, and at a rate of one  cruise every half a month in the winter with the possibility of organizing cruises towards the port of Marseille as well.

This line will allow, according to the Transport Minister, the easing of the pressure on the ports of Oran and Ghazaouat, and provide services for the large number of travelers to Spain and Marseille from Western cities, and it will also provide all the circumstances for the optimal exploitation of the new destination in the context of a business partnership with a Spanish company.
