A Person Died in an Algerian warship in Russia

One person died in an Algerian warship in Russia, in the framework of regular maintenance of heavy military holdings in Russia, according to the agreements that were concluded between the two countries.

A source in the management of Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in St. Petersburg, told “Novosti” Russian News Agency, on Monday, that one person was killed and six others were injured, as a result of an explosion on board of the Algerian military ship, that was subject to maintenance works in the city of St. Petersburg.

The source said; “One person was killed and 6 were taken to hospital for the first-aid treatment and medical tests”.

 A source from “Novosti” agency said that the military ship belongs to the Algerian fleet.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Emergency, “The explosion occurred without a fire on board of the ship that was subject to maintenance work, killing one person and wounding three others.”
