Africans attack police in Algiers

A court in Algiers postponed the sentence of three Malian nationals accused of attacking policemen last week.

The suspects were living in Algeria illegally. They attacked policemen who had ordered them to leave public streets where they used to beg money.

According to police reports, a suspect called his companions to attack a security agent in charge of organizing traffic. He was taken to emergency department and the attackers were arrested. Three of them are sued.

They will appear in court on August 13th.
