Algeria: 60-year-old man kills his nephews and their mother minutes before Iftar

Three family members Sunday were killed by their uncle in the province of Bouira, a few minutes before Iftar time.

The 60-year-old killer opened fire on his brother’s wife and her two sons using a hunting gun he had recovered from the National Gendarmerie forces. He decided to end their lives following an old conflict over an inherited land. He run away to a near forest while security forces still search for him.

Crowds of residents came to show condolences to the victims’ family. Deputy Farida Si Nacer and some local officials attended the funerals as well.
