Algeria: 63 terrorists killed in 2017

The National Popular Army forces killed 63 terrorists and arrested 22 others between January and June this year, Algeria News Agency (APS) reported.

“The National Popular Army forces also found 5 bodies of terrorists and arrested 100 terror support elements. Ten other terrorists surrendered,” said APS.

“Four arm dealers were arrested during the same period. A total of 241 terrorists’ strongholds were destroyed. Some 160 Kalashnikovs, 3 RPG7, 3 RPG2, 12 gun machines, 46 hunting guns, 3 handmade guns and 15 automatic guns were seized.

According to the same source, three bombs making workshops were destroyed. A total of 11.4 quintals of chemical substance meant to make explosives were discovered. The army forces also destroyed 272 handmade bombs and 121 handmade mines.
