Algeria creates a land buffer on its borders with Tunisia

Algeria launched, a few days ago, a massive operation to secure the eastern border with Tunisia and South East with Libya, to curb the infiltration of terrorists from these two countries after the expansion of “Daesh” in Libya and the growing terrorist activity in Tunisia.

 Echorouk sources said the competent services are creating, these days, a buffer zone along the Tunisian border, from El Ouad province territory up to the Tunisian borders of Titaouine province in the territory of Douar Elma municipality.

“This buffer zone will prevent infiltration of any vehicle of extremist groups or even smugglers, as has been control towers were built, along the sandy buffer to explore the area on an ongoing basis and 24 hours a day.”

Identical sources told Echorouk that the border with Tunisia is now fully insured, the after military reinforcements and preventive measures that are adopted to overcome the human deficit, in addition to the creation of mobile check points, and air bases in the south of Illizi Province, and the deep desert in the state of El Oued, where they discovered many ports and secret passageways that are used by terrorists and smugglers in their movements between Libya, Tunisia and Algeria.

“Military buildup and preventive measures came after the large encroachment and stretch of “Daesh” in the Libyan territory, as this terrorist organization received more support from terrorist organizations in Africa, especially in Mali and Nigeria, which sent every week dozens of “Boko Haram” fighters to the Libyan territory, which allowed the terrorist organization to impose full control on Sirte and Ajdabiya, and in a number of Libyan regions, and created fighters’ training camps in the Libyan areas under the control and influence of the terrorist organization that is led by Saudi terrorist Abu Habib Jazrawi, with the help of six senior officers in the former Iraqi army, that were sent by al-Baghdadi to the Libyan territory weeks ago, to expand the geographical area of the organization and face al Qaeda in “Derna Mujahideen Shura Council” and the group of “Jihad Base in West Africa.”
