Algeria: Elimination of three terrorists within 12 hours in Skikda province

Three terrorists were eliminated by detachments of the National People’s Army combined forces, under the operational sector of Skikda province, about 400 km from Algiers in the wake of a combing operation carried out since Saturday near the locality of Aïn Laksar, sub-administrative district of Aïn Kechra, said the Ministry of the National Defense in a press release on Sunday.

The valiant ANP Army troops have been conducting a wide scale dragging operation in upper woods of the coastal province of Skikda, as part of the relentless counter-terrorism struggle.

“This operation, still underway resulted in the killing of three terrorists and the recovery of a Kalashnikov submachine gun, a RPK machine gun, three chargers, a pair of binoculars, a quantity of ammunition and various objects,” the national defense ministry concluded.
