A tripartite meeting is expected to be held on Wednesday to deal with ways to develop local production. Employers and the Enterprise Chiefs Forum (FCE) will present a set of propositions. The General Union of Algerian Workers will not make any proposition as the meeting will be typically economic and have no social dimension, Echorouk has learnt.

This comes as the Prime Ministry submitted the FCE’s propositions to the finance ministry before a cabinet meeting had been held to prepare a road map.

According to the same sources, the General Union of Algerian Workers will have no social demands during the tripartite meeting. Talks will be limited between the finance and industry ministers and employers.

Algeria experiences exceptional economic and financial conditions due to oil price fall. The government set an action plan to face the crisis as part of financial and investment draft laws.
