The government will establish a data bank to keep watch on budget and public money expenditure in different sectors. Parliamentarians will be part of determining the real budget of each sector through real figures about each project cost.

Chairman of finance and budget commission at Parliament Berabeh Zebar told Echorouk the data bank is a “modern” means to enable members of Parliament to discuss finance laws.

He added that the project came after a series of consultations with members of government.

“Budget is not just figures and sums. It is investment references which need information so that it will be easy for the commission’s members to check sector expenses to discuss them,” he said.
