Algerian government retrieved over 250.000 properties of the pied-noirs

Government retrieved 250.000 properties of the pied-noirs until the end of 2014, State Properties’ Director, Mohamed Himoure, said.

“Pied-noirs have no right to retrieve these properties”.

“Process of retrieving the pied-noirs properties in Algeria is final. These properties were counted between 2013 and 2014, and foreigners are not entitled to possess them or to ask for their retrieval.
