A host of deputies of the National People’s Assembly are planning to form an Algerian parliamentary committee in solidarity with the State of Qatar and stand with it in the face of what they called: “conspiracies against the country’s security and sovereignty”.

They called in this line on all civil and political organizations to join this initiative to raise awareness of Arab and Islamic public opinion about the seriousness and consequences of what is being meted out to this country in the name of fighting terrorism and extremism.

The MP of the Union of Renaissance, Justice and development Hassan Aribi, said in a statement that the projected formation of an Algerian parliamentary committee is a token of solidarity with the State of Qatar in order to help it face up to all the plots targeting this Arab country.

The committee will work in coordination with all civil, political, partisan, and legal bodies in the Arab and Islamic world to stand up against this wanton boycott facing Qatar, Mr Aribi noted.

“The parliamentary committee will carry out the task of “enlightening and sensitizing the Arab and Islamic public opinion to the seriousness and adverse consequences of these schemings”, he asserted.

On the other hand, parliamentarians and members of the steering committee of the national people’s assembly are gearing up to visit Qatar in the next few weeks to express their solidarity with this country and to expand coordination and consultation with all actors in this crisis by calling for reconciliation.

“The endeavor is meant to stave off a looming quagmire which could only serve the interests of the enemies of the Arab-Muslim nation with on prime focus the Zionist state of Israel”, the MP added.
