Algerian Youth To Perform National Service Duty According To Specialization
Directorate of National Service that belongs to the National Defense Ministry started the preparation of a comprehensive study in order to allow the integration of national duty recruits, each according to his specialization during the period of service, before being officially signed by the Deputy Minister of Defense and Maj. Gen. of the National People’s Army, Ahmed Gaid Saleh.
Director of the National Service Director at the Ministry of National Defense, Major General, Mohamed Essaleh Ben Bicha, spoke about the studies that will allow the recruited to the national service to perform his national duty according to specialization, training and will.
“The project is under study and will enable national service recruits to perform their national duty, according to their will, which will help them continue their studies, as if they are outside the national service centers”, Ben Bicha said at Al Salil program at the Radio station of the Ministry of National Defense.
The new project will allow recruits to continue their studies or their training inside the barracks. For example, if the youth has a certificate in computing, he will be directed to the services of the media and communication and will be directed to the communication departments of various services and directorates of the army and barracks, and the same for the disciplines of mechanics and repairs, medicine and other disciplines.
This includes both those who have completed their higher education “graduated” or those who were trained in centers and institutes of vocational training, and those who were working or even the unemployed.
In a related context, the sources confirmed that the new project falls within the framework of the strategy that is adopted by the Ministry of National Defense to achieve professionalism for the benefit of young people and better care of their concerns and approach more to citizens, as part of the effort that is initiated by the Ministry of National Defense to modernize and develop the structures of the national army, especially for national service, from which it began to review its legal framework and redeploy its operational structures.
This new procedure allows the placement in the field, especially among those who are graduated from universities and have no experience, and this is reflected positively on their practical lives.
