Ali Haddad: we are in the service of the army

Head of chief of enterprise chiefs Ali Haddad Thursday said he is “grateful for Algeria’s army” and national economy success depends on military power development.

Haddad said his organization aims at developing Algerian economy, creating wealth and employing manpower. “I will stand by the side of businessmen and investors who want to contribute in this aspect.”

“I am in the service of the army. No economic development without military development. Our aim is to build the country. It is time to work hard and to invest. Present roadmap enables a considerable growth rate,” he told local authorities on a working visit to the province of Setif.

Asked about loan, bureaucracy, exporting and importing-related problems faced by investors, he said the government experiences an exceptional economic crisis which it may have never experienced before. “It is an exceptional crisis. Because of that, we have to work together to face it.”

He added that the complementary financial act of the current year brought many advantages for businessmen. Tax on business income was reduced and industrial real-estate was released.

“Economic enterprises should aim at creating wealth, employing skilled manpower and serving the country before anything. Initiatives should be launched and talents should be valorised within a geostrategic vision,” he added.

He announced that specifications about real-estate distribution on businessmen will be soon released. “That will enable them to start achieving new projects.”
