which later turned out to be a theft of a 2.000.000 DZD cash money by an employee, 40, who works in the fund, after taking advantage of the departure of the Fund Manager on an annual holiday, during the beginning of July, to hold the money of the treasury of the agency, as he transferred money in cash through a box of electric ventilator, as the suspect entered on Wednesday evening to the workplace, and told everyone that he bought the ventilator for his house, claiming that he lives in the hell of summer heat and can not buy an air conditioner, before he left his office with a box that is full of money, and then flee abroad through the Tunisian border, according to Echorouk sources.
On Thursday evening, a committee of inquiry and inspection of the General Directorate of the National Fund of Savings and Reserve, opens investigation on the stolen money.
The Fund’s agency in Khenechla (eastern Algeria) discovered the embezzlement or theft of the money in cash after a sudden absence of the treasurer, who is the first suspect in this case, which necessitated his compensation by another.
After reviewing the latest calculations, he discovered the theft and reported the matter to the administration and the security services that were transferred to the fund’s headquarters, and opened an investigation in the case.
