Armed forces foil a terrorist plot against foreign companies Southern Algeria

The same sources added that the national army forces and following prior information, monitored a truck which was coming from the Libyan territory, and stopped it in a region that is located between Bordj Omar Idriss in Illizi (southern Algeria), and the national road No. 3, and found that it was loaded with explosives, and seized two Kalashnikovs and explosive belts, then arrest two Libyans who were on board of the truck.

“The truck was heading to Ouergla via Hassi Messaoud,  and preliminary investigations with the detainees who belong to Al Mourabitine battalion which is led by Mokhtar Belmokhtar, and who is in the Libyan territory, aimed at carrying out terrorist operations in Ouergla and Hassi Messaoud where there are many foreign companies.”
