Belgian experts in Algeria to create new teaching methods

The education ministry will conduct substantial changes to teaching methods to avoid learning by heart and motivates pupils to search for information.
“The ministry works with pedagogy general inspection department to train primary school inspectors. The training which will be finished in 2017 is conducted by Belgian experts,” training director at the ministry Ahcene Labsir told Echorouk.
“Teaching system needs substantial changes to be part of a comprehensive and new vision,” he added.
He also said pupils are still learning lessons by heart to understand information. “Because of that, those methods should be changed. Pupils should be pushed to look for information and teachers should accompany them.”
The trained inspectors will train the rest of inspectors.
