Benchikha terminates contract with Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic

Algeria former coach Abdeljak Benchikha said he terminated his contract with Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic, a few days after he had signed it.

According to Moroccan media reports, the termination came following tension inside the club. Funs took to the street calling for the departure of Benchikha and keeping dismissed coach Mohamed Fakher.

Other sources said Benchikha’s family was threatened by the Moroccan clubs funs. 

Benchikha’s contract raised a large controversy among media and funs.

Moroccan Coaches’ Union said Mohamed Fakher was illegally dimissed because he criticized the club management.

Funs rejected Benchikha and called for keeping the club’s former coach Mohamed Fakher.
