Recent events in Ouergla city are the result of the absence of citizenship and representative character of citizens, and the lack of interest by the authorities for social living conditions of citizen and absence of serious treatment, coordinator of Change Forces, Ali Benflis said.

“Pole parties rejected the system’s desire to achieve a constitutional amendment at the present time. This will deepen the crisis and convene it. We warn of another aspect of the severe financial crisis on the horizon because of the collapse of oil price.”
Benflis explained after a meeting that he supervised on Tuesday, and devoted it to the evaluation of the country’s political, security and economic conditions.
“Result of the recent events in Tougourt led to the death of citizens, due to the absence of citizenship and the lack of representatives and the inherent character of citizens, as without it there no channels of dialogue, and the lack of interest by the authorities to the social problems and living situation of citizens, which should address it seriously, as this is the immediate cause of repeated and successive protests of citizens in many cities.”
Benflis recalled his position of rejecting the will of the existing political system to go to the constitutional amendment.
“It would inevitably lead to deepening and complicating the acute crisis in the country, that is represented in the vacancy of power and the lack of legitimacy of the elected institutions”.
Force of Change Pole said in a statement, which copy is available to Echorouk, that the solution to the current political crisis requires vouch for its requirements urgently, and priority through the achievement of an overarching national consensus, which goal is building a real legitimacy, as the constitutional review should be undertaken by the legitimate institutions.
