Bernard Emié: “Algerians Follow French Presidential Elections Reflecting Strong Relations Between The Two Countries”

French ambassador to Algeria, Bernard Emié, hailed the role of Algeria diplomacy, which he said; today continues to play a major role in the international arena, on the sidelines of the premiere of the documentary “Algeria, Revolutionaries’ Mekkah” (1962-1974) at the French Cultural Center in Algiers.

“Algerian diplomacy which lived its golden age in that era still plays an important role in the international arena”.

French ambassador described Algeria as “the country that exports stability”, recalling the role of Algeria in the Libyan crisis and its role in achieving the Algiers agreement on Mali in June 2015.

“Algeria is a key partner in the exchange of international cooperation and the fight against terrorism. Those relations that were characterized by confidence in the era of the President Francois Hollande and the visit of French Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve on the wake of presidential elections”.

“Algerians follow with interest the French presidential elections and this an evidence of the strength of bilateral relations between our two countries”.
