Algerian deaths among pilgrims in the Hajj stampede at Mina reached 14 pilgrims after the confirmation of the death of three pilgrims by the Algerian Medical Mission that was commissioned to disclose the identity of its nationals who are in the services of keeping corpses at the Holy sites, and who were on the list of 61 pilgrims who were missing after the events of Mina, according to the confirmation of the hrad of Office of Hajj and Umrah, Youcef Azzouza, while four other pilgrims were found alive and after contacting their families to inform them of their health status.

Number of Algerian missing pilgrims in the Holy sites reached over 54 pilgrims.

Head of the Office of Hajj and Umrah, Youcef Azouza, told Echorouk, that seven pilgrims were found, including four pilgrims who were found alive, and it comes to Ben Aoum el- Hachmi, Botabel Mohamed, Allague Moustafa, and Boutera Moubarak, while three Algerian pilgrims were perished due to the stampede in Mina, and it comes to Azza Abdelkader, who was born in January 1, 1941 in Oran, Mechkak Ben Dalla, who was born on June,8, 1952 in Ghelizane and Hamza Abdelbaki who was born in December 31, 1978, bringing the death victims among Algerian pilgrims to 14.

For reference, the Saudi authorities presented 1200 pictures of the victims to the mission to identify the Algerian pilgrims, at a time when Youcef Azzouza confirmed that there is a full coordination between four ministries in Algeria, which are the Foreign, Health and Religious Affairs together with the National Office for Hajj and Umrah, to ensure the case of Algerian pilgrims and coordinate with their families to find out all the developments there, especially after the incidents that were recorded in the holy sites.
