Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s latest message caused a violent political response from opposition parties and speeded up political dynamism.

President Bouteflika finally decided in the constitutional revision issue which has been suspended since it was launched in April 2011, Echorouk has learnt.

According to the same sources, this comes as the president was concerned about a possible non reaction amid people to the constitutional revision. Because of that, Parliament will pass the project without holding a referendum.

Four years ago, Bouteflika promised to establish a consensual constitution amid opposition boycott.

Opposition parties held the government responsible for the failure of the consensual constitution project. They allege that they had submitted suggestions to the President’s Office.

The constitutional revision is expected to open door to many other projects such as government reshuffle which raised a large debate.
