Bouteflika to Leave Grenoble Clinic on Saturday

French regional newspaper “Dauphiné Libéré” confirmed the presence of President Bouteflika, since Thursday evening, in the French clinic of Grenoble, where he underwent on Friday, a series of cardiovascular tests, at the time it suggested he will leave the clinic on Saturday at the latest.

Although the newspaper confirmed that President Bouteflika arrived to the clinic on Thursday, within 4:00 pm, extensive security measures and exceptional security presence were remarked in the area where the medical company is located, where Bouteflika underwent medical control in the services of heart diseases, as the information that was published by the French newspaper matched, in one part, with the statement of the Presidency, that was quoted by APS at 2:30 pm on Thursday night, which means that the statement was issued before the President left Algeria.

APS statement said that the President is paying a special short visit to France, though it gave no details about the visit’s period, as the French newspaper “Dauphiné Libéré” revealed that the President’s stay will not go beyond Friday night or Saturday morning at the latest, and it confirmed that the visit’s aim is undergoing a test and not for treatment.
