Brussels releases Algerian plane

Air Algerie plane, that has been the cause of a dispute with the Dutch company K’AIR BV, took off on Thursday at 16:30 from Brussels Airport towards Algiers, after Air Algerie company obtained the contract to raise the hand on the seized plane because of the so-called Hamid Karboua.

Air Algerie company said in a statement that was published by APS; “After the development of the situation, the company received on Thursday morning the contract of raising the hand, that was issued by the court record, and after conducting the usual technical control, the plane took off from Brussels airport towards Algiers”.
“Judicial proce,dures will continue its normal course. In the first day when the plane ‘was seized, a crisis cell was created at the company’s headquarters. A team that includes jurists was sent to Brussels to work with the company’s lawyers who are in place. The company was investigating in the case and the public authorities were regularly receiving information”.
Air Algerie has announced, in a statement on last Saturday, that one of its planes, which included a flight from Algiers to the Brussels, was seized last Friday, at the decision of the Belgian justice at Brussels airport, after a dispute with the Dutch company K’AIR BV, and this although Algerian air company launched legal action.
