Cheb Mami To Sing At Timagad Festival's Closing Ceremony

After a few years of absence from the Algerian stage, the Prince of Rai, Cheb Mami, will return to Timgad Festival (Eastern Algeria), where he will sing at the closing ceremony of Tamoukadi, alongside with Cheb Kamal Al-Gualmi and Bouzaher band.

Last appearance of the “Prince of Rai” was during the activities of the last Creativity Fair, where he told the media that he will sing a new Single and refused to disclose details, saying only that he had collaborated with Swedish musicians, but he revealed to Echorouk  about the song “Batwannis Bik” which is one of the late Warda’s famous songs with new music distribution, asserting that he will include a full album that will be presented before the end of this year.

Although Cheb Mami will only provide songs from his artistic archive, along with Cheb Khaled, who will open the festival nights in the sixth of July, but the young Lebanese singer Assi El-Hellani, Algerian female singer El-Zahouaniah, Cheb Khalas, Cheb Wahid Staifi, L’Algerino, Kader Djaponi and other names that were already present in this festival.

Timgad International Festival’s 39th edition will be held from 6 to 13 July 2017, starting at 10 pm at the new theater of the ancient city.
