Creation of the Algerian forum for the “freedom flotilla” for Gaza

The members of the Algerian delegation participating in the flotilla meant to break the long-running Israeli blockade on the Palestinian enclave of Gaza, have started the administrative procedures for establishing a forum of an Algerian freedom flotilla, which they say will help “keep the file of renewed Israeli attacks on the salvaging fleet open to accounting, and step up Algeria’s sustained efforts of solidarity with the Palestinian cause”.

According to a first explanatory statement issued by the members of the projected forum, of which “Echorouk” got a copy, the “Palestinian issue come into the priorities of the people and the Government of Algeria, which justifies the establishment of the Algerian Forum of the “freedom flotilla” as an active independent national body by seeking to make every effort for the triumph for the legitimate Palestinian cause.”

The delegation members also expressed their firm will to take part in the next international freedom flotilla bound for blockaded Gaza to emphasize the steadfast support of Algeria for the just Palestinian cause.
