Customs Services To Start A Chnage Movement During June

General Directorate of Customs will start, from the month of June, a large change movement in all ranks of officers and control agents, especially for agents who have exceeded the legal period of transfer to states and isolated areas, especially in the southern regions, where they worked for more than three years.

Committee of equal members at the General Directorate of Customs finished the study of requests for the transfer of officials and customs agents, and graduates of customs schools, in the framework of finalizing all procedures that are related to the transfer calendar, in which all requests for transfer were submitted at the level of the General Directorate of Customs and were taken into consideration.

Official sources at the General Directorate of Customs told Echorouk, on Tuesday, that the movement will cover a large number of officers and control agents at the level of the various regional directorates of the country, airports and ports, while the transfer will include all customs agents whose service duration in the southern regions exceeded 3 years, to the areas close to their residence. 

In return, all officers and staff, who have not served since their entry, will be transferred by customs officials to the southern cities. A large number of new graduates will be transferred from the customs’ schools and training institutes, to the southern provinces, while the border posts will be supported to become operational with new agents pending the activation of the rest of them.

Within the framework of the planned movement, the Human Resources Department also transferred many customs agents who requested remittances for family and social reasons, and others who were transferred after the end of service in the south, as 70% of the total of those who will be transferred were transferred from south to north and vice versa.

General Directorate of Customs started the process of preparing for another transfer movement that will include officials and customs in the various regional directorates, ports and airports as well, which will be applied immediately after the end of the equal committee members to study their files at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
