Report that was submitted by the Algerian Secondary Schools Council Syndicate, confirmed that the National Education Ministry can not get rid of teachers contractors and successors, even if it opened thousands of new financial positions for employment, because most of the educational institutions, especially secondary schools occupy 40% of the contractors, who receive a 20,000 DZD, while there are secondary schools who only work in the new category of contractors, especially the new one.
Secretary-state level of the Algerian Secondary Schools Council, Zoubir Rouina, told Echorouk, the report that was prepared showed that the employment policy in a sensitive sector like the National Education is “fragile” and is based primarily on the “contract” and “succession”, and this is unacceptable because the professor “contractor” who does not have decent and permanent job, can not provide the best for pupils, so the educational performance will reflect negatively on the schooling process, and this contractor once he/she finds a permanent employment in another sector, he/she will leave teaching inevitably.
“In light of the Absence of a precise strategy for employment in education, it is impossible to abandon the contracting”.
“Most of the secondary schools at the national level employ between 30 and 40% of the contracted teachers, which is a large number compared to the permanent teachers, while the report shows that the new Educational Institutions have by 100% teachers contractors and successors, which is the equivalent of 15,000 teachers, and there are no permanent professors”.
